A Philippine dive trip with a mexican touch!

The Philippine Siren Liveaboard welcomed a new group from Mexico Lindo! Once everybody was on board, the dive gear, the paperwork, the safety and general dive briefing were done; the Philippine Siren was ready to go for a new diving adventure with Mexican touch!

bobtail squidFirst stop Cabilao where we stayed the whole day and enjoyed there the beautiful scenery: a combination of soft corals, gorgonians and sea fans. The night dive was in Cambaquiz where we found some bobtail squids, pigmy squids and even a “national geographic” moment when a squid catch a fish! Just amazing!
At Balicasag, we dove at Diver’s Heaven, Black Forrest and the Cathedral: giant frogfish and many nudibranchs.

diver with whale sharkThen up to Oslob to dive with the majestic whale sharks! After this incredible experience with the big ones, now it was time for some muck diving at Dauin. Kabayo Point, Cars and Secret Corner were the chosen dive sites. It was our lucky day because we saw everything what was on the list: Thorny Seahorses, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Harlequin Shrimp, Several type Frogfish, Starry Night Octopus etc.

coralsOn the next day, Apo Island was on the schedule. We made our morning dives on Rocky Point and Chapel where the guests enjoyed a couple of turtles and sea snakes among the beautiful hard coral gardens. On the third dive, we did Coconut Point where we had some more adrenaline with a nice drift dive. For the evening, some preferred to chill out on one of the resorts with a sunset drink, while the rest was doing the night dive on the sandy bottom of Dauin. After dinner, the Philippine Siren started her way to Moalboal and most of the guests decided to go on the sundeck to enjoy a drink with a nice breeze under a sky full of stars.

In Moalboal, we dove Pescador Island and Panagsama. Here, the guests enjoyed the school of millions of sardines. In the afternoon, we decided to visit the Kawasan Falls!
Once on the boat, it was time for the group picture and the farewell drink! A very nice trip with a great group from Mexico!
