Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!!! Once again we find ourselves wondering where the time went and how did we end up here so fast. We have had some great times with all of our guests on board the Fiji Siren and ALL the crew wish everyone the best for their own year to come.
Bula All! The Fiji Siren welcomed on board a group of happy divers all very exicted to start their liveaboard dive trip in Fiji! The weather forecasts were looking impeccable so we shot off first thing to go and enjoy a dive out to Amazing Maze to get us started. This was a great start with the site covered in soft corals and many of the swim through having big sea fans over the entrances and the inner walls littered with coral. We decided to stay out in Vatulaca Reef for the evening and dive this area once more to enjoy the pleasingly light currents and abundance of colourful corals.
Another beautiful day in our pacific paradise as we prepare for more adventures on the high seas surrounding the 333-islands which make-up Fiji. Shortly after boarding, the Fiji Siren was away towards our first dive site and a chance for many to experience their first taste of Fijian diving at its finest. A favorite shake-down location of recent has been Amazing Maze, a nice gentle shallow dive with a good array of critters from nudibranch and scorpion fish to octopus and schooling barracuda as well as ample gorgonian sea fans, anemone and a mixture of soft and hard coral plus of course a maze of tunnels and passages giving the site its name.
Bula once again divers!! For this cruise we had some super special return guest aboard with us for our 10-day trek around the Lomaiviti and up to Taveuni. We started our liveaboard dive trip in the Bligh Waters of Fiji.
Ni Sa Bula and welcome to another week of fabulous diving aboard the S/Y Fiji Siren. This week we had a very mixed group of divers from all over the world, some close and some far. We had a couple from the extended Siren Fleet family (Chris & Helen) joining us on their 4th Siren cruise and a few others doing their second journeys and even a couple joining for their first ever Siren trip. We had English, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Danish and American.
