A week full of new experiences!…

Once all Philippine Siren guests were aboard, we headed and dove at Moalboal. First dive of the day was Sardinas where a school of thousands of sardines was waiting for us! Not for nothing they call this place “sardinas”. Then we moved to Pescador Island and dove its wall. There, we found our first Giant Frogfish and turtles of the week. For the night dive at Turtle Bay, divers were amazed by the number of different crabs they found as well as some pygmy cuttle fish.

frogfishDauin and its muck diving was a brand new experience for most of our guests. We dove Kabayo Point, Cars and Pyramids. On all those dives, we found lots of things on the black sand: 3 Thorney Seahorses, 5 Painted Frogfish, 2 Giant Frogfish, Ornate Ghost Pipefish among others. A couple of guests chose to spend the afternoon in a resort to enjoy the spa and some sunset drinks!!! Meanwhile, the night divers were delighted by a giant Octopus!

Our first dive at Apo Island, Coconut Point, was really great thanks to the fantastic visibility we had. Rocky Point West and Cogon werenดt disappointing neither: turtles, sea snakes, cowries, a big school of jackfish. Back to Dauin for the night dive of the day where we saw hairy frogfish and flamboyant cuttlefish at San Miguel.

Lighthouse31reAnother brand new experience was waiting for our divers: snorkelling with whale sharks at Oslob! Then we cruised to Balicasag where we dove the beautiful wall of Sanctuary then Divers Heaven. Some guests decided to go kayaking or have a swim to enjoy the views of the islands. Gorgonian Wall and Lighthouse in Cabilao made a wonderful end to this trip where Donato showed them a Bargibanti Pygmy Seahorse!!!
Have a safe trip back home and see you soon on board!
