Diving Raja Ampat is always unforgettable!

The Indo Siren liveboard, her crew and our famous cowbell welcomed on board a group of swiss divers all very excited to dive Raja Ampat! After a quick orientation, unpacking and set up of equipment they all enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with sun bathing and sleeping.

We started our journey in Daram area. Octopus, yellow fin barracudas, white tip sharks and even a wobbegong joined in our dives. Between the following 2 dives, we could see some dolphins from the boat! Denise, who joined me to check the current, was very lucky and could snorkel with the dolphins.

The next morning, we started  with Magic Mountain at  Warakaraket: white tip sharks and schooling fish joined in. For the next 2 dives, we went to Boo West and Boo Windows which showed our guest amazing scenery with schooling fish, pigmy seahorse and turtles.  The night dive offered us 2 walking sharks!

Next in our schedule was Yellit Kecil  where we had pygmy seahorse as well as many nudibranches.  For the second dive, we had…Manta madness at Magic Mountain! After that we decided to go for 2 more dives at Nudi and Tank Rock. Wow. Grey reef sharks, white tip sharks, barracudas, fish soup and even Misool pigmy seahorse joined in that dives. After these amazing dives we could enjoy a beautiful sunset on the way to Wayil Batan.
In Wayil Batan, we just had amazing dives with interesting reef formations, huge gorgonians, pygmy seahorses and even eagle ray and mobula!  The guests were amazed by the colors and the scenery of this area!

The next day, we started with Dunia Kecil and then Antichovey. In both dives we could encounter a huge amount of fish and amazing corals. Our last dive in the south was at Balbulol where we had stone fish, schooling bumpheads and batfish.

Some of the guests went for a night dive and the rest joined a viewpoint walk and beach with fresh coconuts. In Dampier Strait, we started our first dive and second dive at Manta Sandy with a beautiful Manta dance show! After lunch we went to Aerborek: rock mover wrasse, mantis shrimp, robust ghostpipe fish, crocodile fish  and much more!!
