Jaw dropping Dives!

16 guests from the States boarded Indo Siren. After a quick orientation, unpacking and set up of equipment they all enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with sun bathing and sleeping. In the evening we started driving towards Misool area. The first evening started awesome…already could celebrate a birthday and a 23 years anniversary… so cakes out, candles on and of course a bottle of champagne open.

After 13 hours crossing we went to Sagof. In our first 2 dives we encountered pigmy seahorse, schooling fish and many nudibranch. After this off to Wayil Batan. Wow… more Pigmy seahorse, bobtail squid, octopus and moray eels… this week the guests like more macro so… nose on the reef. Today was Sankt Nicolaus day so time to try our Christmas hats  the first time.

The Next  morning, we started in Pelee and dove Kaleidoscope Ridge twice and then 4 kings which were truly outstanding with millions of silversides, rainbow runners and pigmy seahorses. This evening after a beach- Lagoon and sunset tour we celebrated Teresas 200 dive… congrats!!!

A slide drift dive thru Gorgonian Passage and Wedding Cake made Wayil Batan remember able for our guests.  For the night dive we moved over to Yellit and dove Yellit besar with two blue ringed octopus. Yeah.

The next morning,  we stayed in Fiabacet. The first big thing is to celebrate Paul’s birthday. We more or less sang 10 times happy birthday and did a lot of small surprises for him. In our dives he got mny small presents… like ordinate ghostpipe fish, 1000 of nudibranch which he loves and pigmy’s. In the evening more of a birthday party with music and singing.

After the wakeup call we briefed our guest for Karang bayangan and we had two amazing dives with oceanic mantas, sharks, wobbegong and fish soup. These two dives were literally jaw dropping. For the third dive we went to Boo Windows to enjoy amazing coral and color combinations. To finish up we went to Daram and made a exploration night dive at Daram island with walking sharks, bobtail squid and tiny little cuttle fish. Next day we stayed in Daram and finished the south with Daram and the clear visibilities of the south. Our encounter today… orangutan crabs, wobbegong shark, barracudas and much more.

In the dives we could encounter frogfish, mantis shrimp, robust ghostpipe fish, bobtail squid, cuttle fish and much more. Can just say an other day in paradise.

One our last full diving day we went for big stuff… to encounter grey reefs, white tips, Wahoo and huge school of fish we dove Sardine Reef, Mioskon and Friwen Bonda. Many Wobbegongs been spotted in these 3 dives. After dive 3 we went to the beach and the people loved it so much that we stayed in Mioskon. Whilst the others enjoyed the sunset on the beach we went for a sunset dive in Mioskon. Imagine…the wobbegongs were still on the same spot. In the evening we celebrated a bit the third advent.
