Nudibranch, frogfish, macro, sardines, whale sharks and much more!

The Philippine Siren and her crew welcomed a new group of divers. After everybody settled down and had a nice lunch, we left for Cabilao.
Our cruise couldn’t start better with the  4 dives we did at Cabilao. The great visibility we had Talisay Tree, Gorgonian Wall and Lighthouse allowed us to enjoy the colorful reefs with its  clown fish, shrimps and nudibranchs. Some lucky guests had the chance to see some eagle rays.

DSC6349Next on our schedule was Balicasag, where our first dive was the Cathedral, an impressive wall with a lot of overhangs, terraces full of sea fans and gorgonians. Here we spotted  the first frogfish of the trip. Then at  Diver’s Heaven and Black Forest, we found some more frogfishes as well as a lot of nudibranchs, schools of Jacks, lots of turtles and much more!
At Dauin, we enjoyed a great muck diving! The photographers were really happy with their shots of thorny seahorses, ornate and robust ghost pipefish, giant frogfish, painted frogfish, wartey frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, sea moths and saw blade shrimps.

DSC3101After this, it was time for some scenery diving at Apo Island with its hard and soft corals, feather stars, schools of purple anthias,  butterfly fish,  leaf scorpionfish and candy crabs. After our night dive in Dauin we travelled to Moalboal.
Once we arrived,  we  dove at Pescador Island, we saw a giant grey frogfish, robust ghost pipefish and ornate ghost pipefish. Then we dove at Stewarts Point  with was full of nice corals, tropical fish and many interesting nudibranchs. The night dive was in Ronda Bay with a big variation of crabs: Sponged Crab, Spider Crab, Hermit Crabs etc.

The next day, a huge school of sardines were just dancing above our heads! Just amazing! Then it was time to snorkel with the majestics whalesharks at Oslob. Everybody as so excited to see them so close.  After this, we went back to Balicasag where the visibility  was incredible! During the dives, we saw some frog fish, a lot of nudibranchs and turtles.
On our last day of diving, we went back to Cabilao. First at Panganggan where we saw  a lot of nudibranchs again!!! Then we dove at the Lighthouse where we  enjoined for the last time the beauty of the walls and plateaus.

What a fantastic trip! Thank you guys! We hope to see on board again!
